Okay garage rock fans, here's one you've been looking for. Scratch that. One you've been dying for. We have for you one of the most desirable 45s in the history of garage rock. It's Half Pint And The Fifths with their classic "Orphan Boy"/"Loving On Borrowed Time" 7". On the highly desirable Orlyn label from Chicago.

G45 Central has it ranked at #28 on their Top 100 List. Here's what they have to say about the record: "Even though we know of only 4 copies of this 45, we would feel uncomfortable estimating less than 8 copies.  At least 2 of those are completely whipped!  A former collecting identity confirms that he once owned 2 copies and didn't even live in Illinois at the time.  Chicago is a big city and there must be a few tucked away there.  Musical greatness, however, elevates this into the stratosphere.  Dig the whiplash which cracks just before the music starts - it's tuff being an orphan boy.  Hear it on BFTG7.  The primitive pop/punk nugget "Loving On Borrowed Time" is the flipside winner.  Hear it on Tougher Than Stains LP." 

What we say: two killer tunes. Everything a garage rock fan would want. Fuzzed up guitars, driving rhythm section, impassioned vocals. These guys did it up right.

The record is clean and plays real nice. No major issues. Just a touch of b/g noise during quiet moments. What you'd expect from an almost 50 year old record.

Real nice labels. Side A is super clean. No writing, no wear. Side B has a small white sticker that has "41" printed on it and "F" written on it. There is also a small "F" written on the label. (see photos)
