Mint Unplayed numbered copy, 1690 / 2500, of Vinyl Me Please Anthology, VMP A006, The Story of the Grateful Dead. 8 albums 13 colored 180 gram vinyl LPs Set has sat on shelf since opening and meticulously inspecting upon arriving last year. All OG contents included. Stickers, slip mat, QR card. Noticed that Europe 72 cover was bent. Contacted VMP and they promptly rectified. New cover was sent & mint LPs from original bent cover were transferred. (I’m keeping the extra damaged Europe 72 cover) See pictures. All covers are Mint & LPs Unplayed. I have all the original albums included or multiple reissues. Purchase out of Deadhead obsessive compulsive completist syndrome. Only defect is tiny split on inner LP holder box where LP spines are visible. Looks to be easily repairable / glued. I only noticed when photographing for listing today. Would repair myself if not selling. Wouldn’t be selling if not for financial albatross caused in wake of my wife and & mother of our 2 daughters leaving us without notice a few months ago. Worst part of the deal is that I spent the last 14 months trying to help her get treatment for obvious mental health issues that manifested during the covid lockdown last year. She refused any and all professional help and prescribed medication. I digress but she went from making a great salary with benefits to nothing & had easily over 10k in personal credit card debit I was unaware of until her mental health issues became apparent. After dealing with all that, for better or for worse right?, and trying to get her back to person I knew ..she bailed ..then drained what remained in the joint account we shared. Sorry for the tale of woe. Only sharing to shed light on circumstances necessitating selling this set. Have to keep it together for sake of my Daughters. We will get by. At any rate I will be listing a plethora of rare Grateful Dead LPs, Box Sets, CD sets etc.. Will also be a bunch of primo sealed or lightly used Soul, Funk, Rock, Alternative LPs as I get time to list. Keep lids peeled. Thanks for checking out this listing. Ready to go as pictured. All eight titles were cut 'AAA' from the original analog tapes, with the exception of Without a Net coming from the original master digital audio.
VMP Anthology editions are limited to 7,500 pressings with the first 2,500 being hand numbered and including Grateful Dead stickers and a double-sided "Tetzoscope" Grateful Dead turntable slip mat.
VMP also includes with their copies exclusive access to 4 pod casts with VMP staff members guiding you through opening and listening to the records over a four-week journey.
