 CONDITION:  VG+
COMMENTS:  Not much known about this mega rare Australian-only release.  The A side is a fairly straight rendition of Buddy holly’s “Everyday”.  But the B side is a 6:17 long slab of searing instrumental filled with wild guitar played by Jimmy Page with Clem Cattini on drums, and arrangements by John Paul Jones (all three take the co-writing credits).  How this ended up on the rather bespoke Adelaide label (alongside Levi Smith’s Clefs, Billy Thorpe, Doug Ashdown, and Fraternity) is anyone’s guess!  There was an album of the same name issued but this was the only track featuring these well-known luminaries.  Nicky Hopkins and Albert Lee were also listed as musicians.

GRADINGS: NM- cover still in shrink-wrap/unplayed record; EX perfect in most respects, minor faults only/few, if any, audible defects; VG+ good in most respects, any issues will be described; VG has visible and audible defects (scratches, tears, ringwear, etc) which will be described in full detail. All records are play-graded with a moving-coil cartridge. All lps are cleaned on a Moth mk2 or a VPI 16.5 record cleaner or with Revirginzer. PLEASE NOTE: I am being forced to sell off much of my own personal collection of rare lps and 45s, as well as high-end stereo equipment due to contamination of all my shop stock by a third-party, which has temporarily put me out of business.  In order to maintain the continuation of The Velvet Fog, I must let much of my private stock go until this matter is finally resolved.
