Victor 12-inch 78 RPM record No. 35822 is George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" by Paul Whiteman and his Concert Orchestra, with George Gershwin at the piano. It is listed in Brian Rust's "American Dance Band Discography", which gives it a recording date of April 21, 1927. The label design, however, suggests that this is a later re-issue.

The record looks to be in about VG to VG+ condition (VG Side 1, VG+ Side 2), still beautifully shiny, but with some visible surface scuffs and scratches and needle drops - more on Side 1 than on Side 2. It plays through without jumping or repeating on my Audio-Technica turntable, with mostly just typical light background noise, but interspersed with some clicks and pops and ticking (on both sides). Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment.

Also included is the Victor Record sleeve shown in the pictures, but it is creased, chipped and torn, and adds very little to the value.
