On offer here is one is one of the most sought after metal records and it's maybe the first metal band from island.

The FLAMES OF HELL Fire and Steel LP released back in 1987 on the french label Draconian Records with the matrix 666.

It have been recorded on their local YMCA studio until those people found out what develish music this band is playing. So they got banned from there, but fortunately they managed to finished their recordings for this album.

The sound is very rough and in the vein of the first wave of black metal like Venom, Bathory, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, etc... but very unique, especially the voice sounds like it comes directly from hell.

This is true dark jewel in every record collection.

A mint copy ended up on an auction for 4.000 $ a couple of years ago, so you should know what rarity is on offer here.

There are many bootlegs around - this one is an original!

I've got it 6 years ago from a well known record collector, so you should know that this one is defenitely an original copy.

The matrix number on the record shows:  666 A and 666 B

Condition:

Record: ex+ / mint- (only a very few signs of hairlines, but in a pretty clean near mint condition, especially after 35 years of it's release)

Cover: vg+ (some ringwear and some dents, but overall in a very nice collector's shape)

comes with it's original vinyl protecting sleeve (see fotos)

Sealed = NEU und original verschweißt.                                              NEW with it’s original seal

Mint= NEU, jedoch nicht verschweißt aber ungeöffnet.       NEW unopened but not sealed

Mint- = wie neu        LIKE NEW played only a couple of times

Ex+/- = nicht mehr ganz neuwertig aber in super Sammlerzustand, j gebraucht und mit minimalen (+) bis leichten (-) Abnutzungserscheinungen, spielt einwandfrei ohne Nebengeräusche                            LIKE NEW, minimal storage signs, sound with no pop ups and clicks

Vg+/- = Hülle oder Vinyl mit mittelgroßen altersbedingten Abnutzungserscheinungen, jedoch Kratzer welche die Songs springen lassen Beschädigungen                                USED but in very good condition, light storage signs but no scvuffs which affect the sound.

G+/- = Vinal oder Hülle hat definitiv schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, jedoch immer noch schön in der Sammlung anzuschauen                                                              in used good condition,

you can clearly hear that the vinyl played often but it's have been cared well.
