Description
His last 78 release and most sought after. This rarely is available and becoming harder to find. Surely this is a great investment for any Elvis fan or record collector. Released in July. 1960 when 78’s were practically phased out.
Side A -“Mess of Blues” covered by several artists since including a hit by Status Quo.
Side B -“The girl of my best friend” which is my favourite Elvis song. It was re-issued on vinyl in 1976 and was a UK top 10 hit for the King again.
As seen from photos, the labels are in Excellent condition. Some very light spindle marks.
The playing surface is great too and plays beautifully. Excellent . A few very light scratches which do not affect the playing. This record is nearly 60 years old so please bare that in mind.
The only slight flaw is a slight nick in the running out groove as seen on photo 8.
Again this does not affect the record performance.
To find this record is difficult however to find one in this condition is near impossible
