Description

You are bidding on a very rare 45 rpm record by Elton John.

This was his first ever release from 1968 and does not come up for sale very often.

A. Side.....I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU

B. Side.....HERE'S TO THE NEXT TIME

Artist: ELTON JOHN

Format : 7" SINGLE

Release Date: 1968

Country Of Issue : UNITED KINGDOM

Record Label : PHILIPS

Catalogue Number : BF 1643

Record Condition;  VG

Cover Condition;  EX

Vinyl Condition: After carefully looking and listening to this record I have graded it as " Very Good "

The A-Side has numerous, non sounding, surface marks that do not affect play, that is apart from a couple of tiny pops at the very end of the song.

The B-Side has numerous, non sounding, surface marks that do not affect play.

In my opinion, this record plays extremely well without any skips, jumps and very little background noise.

Both labels are pretty clean and free of any writing, that is apart from a slight pen mark on the A -Side.

Sleeve Condition: Original Philips sleeve in excellent condition.

I have tried to be as honest as I can with my listing and have included the standard record grading system used to grade second hand records.

Please Note; if you are looking for a mint copy of this record, then this is definitely not for you, however if you are happy with an extremely serviceable copy to play until that ultimate mint copy is located, then this should certainly do the job.

Record Grading System:

Mint: The record itself in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows very slight signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality and the cover and packaging have only minimum defects.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played a few times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. A slight amount of wear or tear on the cover or extra items is acceptable.

Good: The record still produces a reasonable sound but has obviously been played a lot. Although showing wear and tear, neither the record, cover or contents display any major defects.

Fair: It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated quite a bit. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.

Poor: The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise and other deterioration in sound quality.

Bad: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be torn, stained, defaced or even missing.
