About This Record.  This is an original French copy of Joy Division's Sordide Sentimental 7" in deluxe fold open textured sleeve with the painting by Jean-Francois Jamoul (“J-F JAMOUL“) on the cover (how appropriate).  It features the songs Atmosphere and Dead Souls.  TOP COPY. This copy has both inserts in NM condition (namely, the fold open lyric sheet and the one-sided blue advertissement card), and also comes with the rare Sordide Sentimental bag for the cover that came with the first 100 copies or so.  The original vinyl has the serrated edge around the label trail out edges (see photos).  The plastic window that holds the 45rpm shows #0059/1578, a very low number!  The cover has a minor bend in the middle portion from the 45rpm, as on all copies (please see last two photos).  Please also see my Lightning Hopkins records for sale; I have 60+ different ones up for sale (or will soon; check back), and there's something for everyone.

Cover:  Excellent Plus (EX+). Nice except for usual bends on left and right in the middle portion of the back of the triptych cover from two sides of the 45rpm, which happened to almost every copy because of the original packaging.  See photos.
Insert. NM fold open white English translation of notes/lyrics that are printed in French inside the cover, and blue card, and Rare VG+ Sordide Sentimental clear plastic bag with some wear to the lettering and artwork printed on part of the clear bag. Also contains original crinkly plastic innersleeve for the 45rpm (although the 45rpm has been Ultrasonic cleaned and placed in new sleeve).

Vinyl Grading:  My grading [Cover/Vinyl]  F/G-/G/G+/VG-/VG/VG+/EX-/EX/EX+/NM/Sealed.  Records are visually graded unless otherwise indicated because some of these blues recordings, are by nature, not the best recordings and everybody has a different point of view about what a NM looking records plays like when the source are old recordings that themselves have crackle, etc.
