Here is a super RARE PROMO album offered up for sale by the blues legend John Lee Hooker, his album "John Lee Hooker At Newport", original vinyl is in very well cared for condition! Released in 1964 on Vee Jay VJLP-1078 (mono), has the vintage 1960's Long Playing Microgroove VJ logo, promo markings were blackened out (see photos). This special pressing record grades EX, is super clean and glossy, only a couple small light marks to an otherwise pristine disc, nothing heavy, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays great from start to finish with excellent clear sound, very minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! Still has original paper inner sleeve.The cover rates EX, is super clean and bright, no signatures or writing, edges and corners have minimal wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge is readable, a great cover for a 52 year old!
