I'm selling this Bowie one sided 10" acetate on behalf of a friend who's sister used to work for RCA in the 1970's and was given it as a present probably in early 1975. She was also given the B side acetate 'Suffragette City' as a separate 10" acetate which is also on sale this week.
The official single release version length was 3 minutes 11 seconds but this acetate seems to be more like of the LP version at 5 minutes and 5 seconds, i'm not sure if this is a slightly different mix or not? Maybe its very slightly shorter in length than the LP version as this acetate is at 5 minutes and 5 seconds and the LP version at 5 minutes and 10 seconds.
I'M SURE THERE CAN ONLY BE A HANDFUL OF THESE IN EXISTENCE SO HAPPY BIDDING ON A UNIQUE PIECE OF BOWIE HISTORY ! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER COPY OF THIS ACETATE EVER BEFORE ON SALE !

The acetate is in VG++ condition with some very light surface marks but still plays and sounds great !
