Description

Franz Schubert - Symphony No.7 in C major op.posth

Joseph Haydn - Symphony No.88 in G major
Wilhelm Furtwängler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra

DGG LPEM 18015/16

This is ultra rare original first German heavy vinyl pressing on 2 Lps from 1952 with the earliest "Alle Rechte ..." tulip label.

The condition is absolutely incredible. Both records look almost unplayed! I have played parts of it with my EMT Ortofon OFS25: no clicks, no ticks, near to no background noise.

The gate-fold cover looks like new except a hint of ring wear. No writings, no splits.

It is impossible to find this holy grail of classical music in better condition.
