The Story:  This record never officially saw the day of light. -- It was planned, but Elektra sticked to their contract and released it accordingly. Apple Records only pressed a few 'Advance-Vinyl' copies, today a sought after issue.
Covers were never manufactured. You can now own this item. -- Good luck bidding. -- Only will be sent 'Signed For' and 'Fully Insured'.

Condition: Cover: No Cover (Never came with Cover) Record: VG++/Mint- (Except one tiny white 'dot' on beginning of side 2, causing three little 'clicks'. Record has been played, and very well cared of ..) 

The rarest UK Apple Album known To exist.
Delaney & Bonnie & Friends were A Rock/Soul Group fronted by husband and wife duo Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett.
In early 1969 Delaney & Bonnie signed to Elektra Records to record their second album 'Accept No Substitutes', the album was recorded at Elektra's Recording Studio, however on hearing pre-release tapes of this album George Harrison offered the group a contract with Apple Records, which the group accepted despite already been contracted to Elektra.
Apple's plan was to release Delaney & Bonnie's second album 'Accept No Substitutes' but under the title of 'Delaney & Bonnie & Friends' and accordingl to Elektra Records co-founder Jac Holzman Apple Got as far as starting production of the album using some of, if not all the original Elektra Recordings before Elektra declared Apple's contract void and the pressing was subsequently stopped.
Elektra Records did eventually release the album 'Accept No Substitudes' later in 1996 and any copies that had already been produced by Apple Records were never made available for sale!
The Elektra UK release of this album was issued through Polydor and both the Polydor and Apple versions carry the Elektra number EKS 70439 and the Apple SAPCORE 7 (Why Sapcore (additional incorrect 'E' is unknown).
This now led to any copies of this album on the Apple label being the rarest, most elusive and certainly most collectable of all the original Apple releases.DELANEY AND BONNIE 'THE ORIGINAL DELANEY AND BONNIE"

[M] Mint. Unopened, still factory sealed
[M-] Near Mint. Near perfect, played rarely if ever.
[VG++] Almost like new with only superficial signs of use that dont affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to VG++.
[VG+] Vinyl may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or light scratches that dont effect the sound
The cover may have slight signs of wear.
(VG) Surface noise will be noticeable, but will not overpower the music. The cover may have writing or tape.
(G) This album can play through without skipping, but there will be significant surface noise and scratches. The cover may have splits, writing, tape, or stickers on it.
