Description

Many thanks for your interest in my records!I've collected records for over 30 years and as such sometimes take stock and realise how many duplicates I have accrued, and how many records I no longer listen to. I grade using the RRPG Record Collector grading system, though feel that I grade down if anything, please check my feedback for proof of this! I have sold many records (some incredibly rare ones in the 4 figures) over the years, so please rest assured that my gradings have been satisfactory so far! Though, If you have any concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me before leaving negative feedback. I haven't had negative feedback so far, and don't intend to start now if I can at all help it!
I'll combine records for the same price for up to 3 disks (double LPs count as 2!), and at as reduced a rate as I can beyond that! International bidders please ask, as I'll send them as cheaply as possible for you,but they must be sent tracked and insured.

Here we have the rare and sought-after LXT 2970, Mischa Elman with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult, performing Tchaikovsky's Concerto in D Major for Violin and Orchestra (Opus 35).  What a wonderful performance, no wonder it's sought after!

Record Condition:  VG-/VG if this were another style of music I'd say confidently that it was easily VG, but Classical Music with its arching dynamics does have a tendency to show up any imperfections at all! This record has nothing significant, though does have a general dusting of light surface marks, the audio is still great and strong, with just light static in the background in quieter passages. Really nice audio, just shows up some surface hairlines/marks when angled into the light, I've tried to highlight an example of this in photo 8.

Labels Condition: EX No signs of fading/graffiti/staining, really strong old glossy Orange and Gold decca labels! No sign of wear and tear around the central spindle-holes either! Lovely and crisp!

Sleeve Condition: VG- Generally in decent condition, but for the fact that the laminate has unfortunately lifted in a few places and as such the de-laminated areas below has slightly discoloured. Other than that, very nice, the laminate has slightly yellowed, and there is a faint manufacturing vertical mark on the back-panel's lamination, the corners have light wear, but nothing substantial, the edges are fairly nice, with an inch loss of lamination in the middle of both the spine and the bottom edge, though no wear-throughs, so the sleeve still holds well!
