Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm I will offer… My name is ‘punky_music’.
Legendary all-time classic from California, home of BLACK FLAG, SOCIAL DISTORTION, CIRCLE JERKS, DILS and WEIRDOS. Their top produced first 7” was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk Discography). You are bidding on the original first US pressing, released on famous West Coast label ‘Optional Music’ in 1979 (catalogue number OPT 2). As you know, second pressings were released on Jello Biafra’s own label ‘Alternative Tentacles’ in the same year. eBay prices: $60 + $50 + $60 (US). The extremely good lyrics are printed on the inner side of the original fold-open sleeve. ‘California Über Alles’ is without any doubt one of the best punk songs ever made. The stomper on the flip named ‘Man With The Dogs’. As additional here’s the comment from the wonderful FLEX:

- Their first single turned out to be one of their greatest hits. This was also the start for their career in Europe because it got some airplay on UK punk radio and the band ended up selling about ten times as many copies in Europe than in the US. Smart and cynical punk on the edge of hardcore; one of the hottest 7”s before 1980; a classic. [9]
- Allererste DK-Single, gleich mit einem Hit auf der A-Seite; zynischer, kraftvoller Punk an der Schwelle zum Hardcore; wohl mit das Schärfste, das die Amis vor 1980 zu bieten hatten. B-Seite ist auch gut. Klassiker.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
