DAVID BOWIE “IN PERSON” ZIGGY STARDUST TOUR LIVE RECORDING

TMQ RECORDS - 71054 (US)

GRADE: Vinyl = ( NM ) / Cover = ( G )

This auction is for the David Bowie - “In Person” LP vinyl record. The stock number is 71054 which is the original TMQ pressing.

This is a recording from the US Ziggy Tour recorded at Santa Monica Civic Center on Oct. 20, 1972.

The vinyl is very clean and looks unplayed. A very nice copy indeed.

The cover is in good condition with much wear and seams splits (see photos).

DANA GILLESPIE

“AIN’T GONNA PLAY NO SECOND FIDDLE”

RCA RECORDS - CPL1-0682 (US) 1974

GRADE: Vinyl = ( VG+ ) / Cover = ( VG )

This auction is for the Dana Gillespie - “Ain’t Gonna Play No Second Fiddle” LP vinyl record on RCA Records. The stock number is CPL1-0682 which is the original US pressing. See the photos for a track listing.

This is Dana Gillespie’s second album. She was a girlfriend of Bowie’s and a fellow Mainman artist. As far as I know this album and “Weren’t Born a Man” are her only two records.

The vinyl is very clean and shiny with some very slight scuffing.

The cover has general wear around the edges and a wrinkle in the lower right corner of the front cover. There is a small seam split on the top and bottom corners of the back cover of this gatefold album (see photos).

DAVID BOWIE “THE GLASS SPIDER IN NEW YORK & AMSTERDAM” w/ PETER FRAMPTON

HOLLAND RECORDS - TH42 (HOLLAND) 1987

GRADE: Vinyl = ( NM ) / Cover = ( VG+ )

This auction is for the David Bowie - “The Glass Spider in New York and Amsterdam” LP vinyl record. The stock number is TH 42 which is the original Holland pressing.

To promote the Glass Spider Tour, Bowie took a five piece backing group including Carlos Alomar and Peter Frampton and conducted press conferences in which the band performed numbers from his new record, “Never Let Me Down.” Side A is the New York press conference and Side B is the one from Amsterdam.

The vinyl is very clean and looks unplayed. A very nice copy indeed.

The cover is in nice condition with wear around the edges. No ring wear or seams splits (see photos).

DAVID BOWIE “INTERVIEW”

SCARY MONSTERS PROMOTIONAL ALBUM

RCA RECORDS - DJL1-3840 (US)

GRADE: Vinyl = ( NM ) / Cover = ( G )

This auction is for the David Bowie - “Interview” Promotional LP vinyl record on RCA Records. The stock number is DJL1-3840 which is the original US promotional pressing. See the photos for a track listing.

This is a white label RCA promo record that was sent to radio stations in 1980 to promote the “Scary Monsters” album. This record was made so that DJs could “interview” Bowie. The inner sleeve contains the questions that the DJ is to ask and the record contains Bowie’s responses. By owning this record, you too can interview Bowie.

The vinyl is very clean and looks unplayed. A very nice copy indeed.

The cover is in good condition. The cover obviously got wet at some point in the lower left corner of the cover but has no seams splits. The inner sleeve does have seam splits on both the left and right sides as well as the same water damage as the cover in the same corner (see photos).

GENERAL CONDITION GRADING

( S )  SEALED = VINYL - assumed mint, never opened.

( M )  MINT = VINYL - absolutely perfect in every way, never played.

( NM )  NEAR MINT

= VINYL - is nearly perfect with no obvious signs of wear. COVER - Should have no creases, folds, seam splits or cut-off holes.

( VG+ )  VERY GOOD PLUS

= VINYL - may have scuff marks, very light scratches and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly with only barely detectable crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning is allowable. COVER - may only have the slightest signs of normal wear.

( VG )  VERY GOOD

= VINYL - has light scratches, may crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally, and no more loudly than the music. COVER - has normal wear such as ring wear and split seams.

( G )  GOOD

= VINYL - Has scratches, may have continuous crackles, pops and significant surface noise. COVER - has more than normal wear and tear.

( P )  POOR

= VINYL - is cracked, badly warped and won't play through without skipping or repeating. COVER - barely keeps the record inside.

Please note that all items are visually graded only.

I am a big Bowie collector myself and am letting go of some of my extras for other Bowie fans to enjoy. Check out my feedbacks and you will see that I am an honest seller. Good Luck!

I try and make the most accurate assessment of the item's condition but understand that it is through visual inspection only.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a truly cool piece of RARE David Bowie vinyl.
