The following information comes from Bassman's Bowie Page (http://www.algonet.se/~bassman":

The discs IN PERSON and In America (1974) were the first discs with the "cut" version of the Santa Monica Broadcast, which means without the DJ's comments. The sound quality on all the 'Trade Mark Of Quality' issues is excellent, and superior to Ziggy in concert (1973). Five different versions are to be found, plus some obscure ones (probably home-made) as well. At least TMQ released the following issues: The first and original discs came in a so called TMQ Production cover, and they all have labels with the songs listed on one side and the TMQ pig on the other. The discs came in both black and coloured vinyl. The second issue came in a rubber stamped front side with a TMQ sticker, the back side had an insert, all discs were pressed on coloured vinyl and they have the TMQ labels without song lists. Third issue came in an identical cover to the second issue, but all the discs are on black vinyl but with the same kind of labels as on the first original issue. The fourth issue has the insert on the front side of the cover, and all the discs are on black vinyl with plain labels stating side one and two. The fifth and probably the final issue has an extra number hand written on the insert: S-407, and the labels are the same as on the fourth issue.

IN AMERICA: This disc was released in the same order as In Person, but with the number S-408 on the insert to the fifth version. The insert with the matrix number on is the fourth issue.

IN PERSON:

The cover has the original round "pig" sticker. There's some discoloring and the spine has suffered a bit.

The vinyl has surfacewear, but plays excellent without ticking, crackling or skipping.

Matrix numbers (scratched): DB-528-A and DB-528-B

The labels are clean, but there are some signs of glue (?). (pictures).

The insert is glued to the back of the cover.

IN AMERICA:

This version has the number S-408 on the insert. There's a plain white cover with the insert glued on. There are brown spots especially on the back of the cover.

Also this vinyl has surfacewear, but plays excellent.

Matrix numbers (scratched): DB-531-A and DB-531-B

The labels are clean and look great.

A rare opportunity to get the FULL Santa Monica 1972 concert on Trade Mark Of Quality.
