Description
"ALADDIN SANE"
Country: ITALY Year: 1973 Label: RCA VICTOR DLSP 4852 Cover: VG Record: VG Mega rare Italian issue of this legendary David Bowie LP. This cover was made in Italy as a temporary sleeve waiting for the original cover. At that time the record stores received this temporary cover from the Italian RCA company in Rome. That's because RCA was waiting for the printing of the original cover by its pressing plant. Once the stores received the commercial covers the customers could ask to make a trade giving back to the stores those temporary covers. This provisional cover was made in only 500 copies at that time and now it's one of the most sought-after Italian pressing records ever. The cover here is not perfect but it's still in very godible conditions. Some signs due the age but not writing or bad damages (you can easily see all in the pics below). The top left bend is not so evident "in person". This cover is better "live" than in the pics below. The record, under the 100W halogen lamp, shows a good number of lines but mostly not deep; just one or two of them are more visibles and deep. In any case the 99% of the value here is for the cover as the record inside was the common issue. Very, very rare and so odd to find in these days.

Grading and Info
All my records are strictly graded following Record Collector Standard Grading. I don't usually use MINT unless the record is sealed and the cover is perfect. All the records are graded under a 100W lamp. If a record has any visual defect, I usually listen to it before the auction and you'll find a description in the section above. I'm not a "professional seller" but I've been collecting records for more than 35 years and I know what it means to receive a record in worse condition than it was described. I have been selling and buying rare records on Ebay for about 20 years now and all the buyers have always been very happy at the end of the transactions.
Grading e Condizioni di Vendita
Le condizioni di tutti i dischi messi in asta sono valutate seguendo gli standard della rivista Record Collector. Di solito non uso il MINT a meno che il disco non sia sigillato e la copertina perfetta. Gli standard di Record Collectors sono molto diversi da quelli italiani, quindi se descrivo un disco come VG+ (Very Good Plus) significa che il disco è in ottime condizioni (per la maggior parte degli altri collezionisti sarebbe un MINT) e non da buttare. Se il disco presenta dei difetti di solito lo ascolto prima dell'asta e potete trovare la descrizione nella sezione di sopra. Non sono un venditore professionista ma sono un collezionista da oltre trent'anni e so cosa significa vedersi arrivare un disco in condizioni peggiori di quanto fosse stato descritto. Vendo e compro dischi su Ebay da circa venti anni e chiunque abbia acquistato da me non ha mai lamentato problemi di alcun tipo.

I contenitori per la spedizione sono in cartone rigido utilizzato in doppio strato per una assoluta sicurezza. Gli LP vengono spediti tramite PACCOCELERE 3 e su specifica richiesta anche con PACCOCELERE 1. Le attuali disposizioni degli uffici postali non consentono la spedizione di un LP tramite POSTA RACCOMANDATA in quanto fuori misura standard. I 45 giri, gli EP ed i 10 Pollici possono essere inviati tramite POSTA RACCOMANDATA o POSTA RACCOMANDATA 1, sempre su specifica richiesta. Le spese di spedizione NON comprendono il servizio di assicurazione. Se desiderate avvalervi di tale servizio il costo di quest'ultimo dovrà essere aggiunto al costo della spedizione di base.
