Mitslav Rostropovich, with Martha Argerich plays Chopin’s “Cello Sonata” and “Polonaise” and Schumann’s “Adagio and Allegro Op. 70”. A German stereo pressing on the Deutche Grammophon Label (2531 201), the record is of mint appearance, and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover is excellent.
