The story behind Cherri Lynn is lost in the sands of time, but what we do have is this swingin' little 78 she cut for Apollo Records in the very early '50s. It's a solid performance and even has a bit of a vocal quote from "Meet Me In The Bottom" in the middle of the song.
The tracks on this single are "Wait" and "Baby I'm Gone" and it's from 1954. THIS IS A VINYL PROMO 78, quite a nice rarity!
