Bob Dylan Woody Guthrie 78 RPM Rare Box American Radical Patriot CD Alan Lomax

Bob Dylan Woody Guthrie 78 RPM Rare Box American Radical Patriot CD Alan Lomax

Welcome to our listing…

We are offering a very limited edition cd/dvd/vinyl 78 rpm box set - now out of print - by Woody Guthrie titled American Radical Patriot.

The 78 RPM record has music from Woody Guthrie on one side and BOB DYLAN on the other!

The box was released by Rounder Records in 2013, and is now out of print.

Included in this set are 6 compact discs, 1 DVD and the aforementioned 78 rpm vinyl record.

Bob Dylan performs "VD City" recorded in 1961, as a part of the Minnesota Hotel sessions.

This set is still "Factory Sealed" brand new, and has never been opened!

Please note that the 78 rpm record that is included in the photos is from my own personal opened copy so that you could see what it looks like. Your copy, as stated, will be unopened.

• Woody Guthrie: Radical American Patriot is a collection of material recorded "in service" of the U.S. Government.

• Here are his complete Library of Congress interviews and musical performances recorded by Alan Lomax (released in their entirety for the first time);

• His songs written while employed by the Bonneville Power Administration, including a previously unreleased, minor key version of "Pastures of Plenty";

• A set of previously unheard home demonstration recordings of songs made for a late 1940s public health service VD education program;

• Three radio skits, including two for the Office of War Information during the Second World War;

• And a number of other radio performances made in support of the war effort.

• It's a sweeping overview both of a transitional period in American history, and of the prolific, multi-faceted life of Woody Guthrie
