The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. The Beatles-"Girl" (Mono/Stereo) 45, Capitol P-4506, with additional catalog number of PRO-8735, pressed in 1977. Original 45 was supposed to be backed with "You're Going To Lose That Girl" to publicize the current "Love Songs" LP, but it was withdrawn at the last minute. All that survives from that plan is this promo. Authentic, with "Mastered By Capitol" stamped in the dead wax on both sides. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM condition; this appears unplayed. Picture sleeve, which was to contain the originally planned 45, is in NM- condition with the lightest of wear. Very scarce piece of Beatles vinyl, in overall excellent shape.
