Description
Original early 1963 Vee Jay Please Please Me / Ask Me Why 45.
On the label, THE BEATLES is misspelled as THE BEATTLES.
Research indicates this was probably pressed/release in February 1963 and is the first Beatles single released in the United States.
There were several pressings of this record, this is thought to be the 3rd and rarest with "#" before the 498 (others used VJ 498) and Beatles misspelled.
