The Canadian "Let It Be" boxed set was released in May 1970. This LP was pressed simultaneously by both RCA and Compo for Capitol Records Canada. This copy was pressed by RCA as indicated by the large pressing ring. The box set consists of an outer slip cover, inner slip sleeve, a tray to hold the book, the "Let It Be" book imported from the UK, the "Let It Be" LP cover and the disc itself. All parts of this box set are original.
For a single LP the box set was expensive selling for approximately twice the price or more of a regular album. As a result sales were compromised and within 18 months the LP by itself was reissued as a single LP with the new catalogue number of SW- 6386. There is also evidence that sluggish sales of the box set resulted in the original LP being removed from the box and sold separately or sold just with the book.
The slip cover and LP are prone to wear, the tray is often missing and the book's glued binding easily results in loose pages. Complete sets in collectible condition, such as this one, are scarce.         
The Canadian "Let It Be" boxed set SOAL-6351 is the rarest Beatles issue in the Capitol 6000 series and as an original limited release this LP box set qualifies as a rare Beatles' collectible.
Condition: Outer slip cover = VG+ to EXCELLENT The pictures on the front of the slip cover are vibrant, free from wear and fading. There is no writing or stickers on the cover and it retains the original gloss. There is minor wear to the edges and corners. The back retains the original gloss with minor signs of handling and wear. The condition of the outer slip cover is evident in the first three photographs. 
Inner slip case = VG+ to EXCELLENT  The inner slip case is the original. The left side flap shows some creasing. The right flap is free and the remainder of the inner slip case is in excellent condition. The slip case is free from writing and stickers.   Tray = EXCELLENT The book tray is the original and in excellent condition. One inside corner has a small tear that has been repaired on the underside with a small piece of paper tape approximately 1 inch in length.    "Let It Be" Book = EXCELLENT The book is completely intact with no loose pages, writing or stickers. It retains it's full gloss.   LP cover = VERY GOOD +  The LP cover which is prone to wear shows some wear at the top and bottom of the front and back and the corners. There is no writing or stickers. The spine is strong and unbroken. There are no seam splits.     LP vinyl = VERY GOOD +  The LP shows some marks from sleeve removal and play. Minor static in places. Lots of original gloss. I have graded the vinyl VG+ but easily play grades closer to excellent.   Labels = EXCELLENT The labels are free of stickers and writing. Very clean. The spindle hole is tight with almost no evidence of spindle trails. This LP has received light play.
