Description
This item is an album released in 1966 on Capitol Records by The Beach Boys entitiled ‘Pet Sounds’. Record label and number is Capitol Records DT 2458. Record itself is in excellent condition and played beautifully when play tested on my Denon turntable. No clicks or pops and very quiet between songs. Record was professionally cleaned on a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. Record labels show no spindle wear (see photos).
Matrix numbers are:
SIDE 1 : DT - 1 - 2458 - B10
SIDE 2 : DT - 2 - 2458 - A9 #3
Record cover is in very strong VG+ condition with flaws being a 1/4 in tear on the spine of the cover at the lower left corner, slightly creased corners at the upper and lower left corners and at the upper right corner, some slight discoloring on the back of the corner and some very light ringwear (see photos). Album comes complete with its original Capitol Records paper inner sleeve. See photos for song listings. A great example of this classic Beach Boys LP and very hard to find this early stereo / Duophonic pressing in this condition! A great addition to your Beach Boys / record collection!
