THE STORY OF HER JOURNEY INTO PERVERSION aka DIE JUNGFRAU UND DIE PEITSCHE OST Lp music by BRUNO NICOLAI with EDDA DELL'ORSO & I CANTORI MODERNI singers / ALESSANDRO ALESSANDRONI on sitar and psychedelic guitars. Original Italian pressing on GEMELLI label (GG 10024) from circa early '70s. Stunning lounge session, extremely psychedelic but also dreamy and sexy with strong Brazilian influences. Nicolai's score was created for the cult S & M / sex film directed by Jess Franco starring Maria Rohm / Jack Taylor and Marie Liljedahl. DE SADE '70 is the incredible sitar beat theme with heavy reverb that was also used by Emilio Paolo Miraglia in his giallo thriller La Notte Che Evelyn Uscì Dalla Tomba aka The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave. Sinister indo-psychedelia with the bewitching Edda Dell'Orso on the acid influenced trip of DRUG PARTY and more disturbing underground sounds with experimental motifs on CRIMINAL SEX. For fans of samba lounge there's EUGINE and very elegant bossa on MARY. Lysergic jazz and breath-taking vocals throughout PSYCHO-MEETING and killer obsessive jazz with harpischord and haunting fuzz distortions / psych guitars on CIRCLE. The beautiful CHEEK TO CHEEK is tropical hammond lounge with Edda over mellow, afro latin rhythms. The final theme, PARAIBA is joyous and carefree vocal scat by I Cantori Moderni, sounding closer to the Piero Umiliani - La Schiava Io Ce L'ho Tu No film score on Vedette. There is also an inspired repress of the Marquis De Sade soundtrack by Andy Votel's Finder Keepers label containing alternative versions too :) Beautiful pop art sleeve artwork. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is close to shiny, M- condition with a few hairlines. Some light surface noises / soft pops in places. Taken from an unplayed deadstock of records and played once for the recording of our soundclip. The laminated thick card sleeve with nude pop art imagery is close to M- condition overall with minimal wear. Some light dirt marks to back sleeve from storage. Small sticker and ink stamp with telephone number just above bottom edge of back sleeve. Original tracklisting has been covered with a printed sticker (most probably to cover a pressing mistake that all copies seem to have). Original Gemelli label distribution sticker, front top right corner. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library OST Lp!!!
