Description

This is a single vinyl recording of Bob Dylan and the Band performing tracks that would later form the platform of the Basement Tapes album called “Little White Wonder”. The songs on this album were recorded in 1967 supposedly in the “Big Pink” basement in the period between Dylan recording “Blonde on Blonde” and “John Wesley Harding”. The cover is in Mint condition. The cover is not a standard cover as you can fold it out and therefore is open on three sides instead of the standard one. The art work was inspired by the artist Robert Crumb who had recently designed the album cover “Cheap Thrills” for “Big Brother and the Holding Company”. The cover has a beautifully drawn cartoon for each song on the album. The actual artist who designed the cover is the renowned Dutch under ground comics artist Peter Pontiac.

The record is near mint; played a couple of times from new. This is an original pressing on the Rover Records label and was pressed in 1972. The code for the album is LP 15701 and the matrixes are 15701-A and 15701-B.
