with DONALD BYRD, JOHN JENKINS, BOBBY TIMMONS, WILBUR WARE AND "PHILLY" JOE JONES Original BLUE NOTE Lp pressing, #1550,
BLUE NOTE BLP 1550, Blue White Label, Double Sided Deep Groove, RVG, EAR stamped in the dead wax, no INC no "R", Made in USA 1957 The vinyl is very clean and glossy but for one very light surface scuff which does not affect play, it sounds near mint, a beautiful sounding pressing! The cover has light ring wear on the back paste-on and some yellowing of the paper especially where some tape used to be. There are two 2 inch splits exactly where the tape stains are on the top and bottom edges, (see pictures), light rounding at the corners, otherwise super straight and clean, no splits.
