BEATLES UK - WITH THE BEATLES, MISPRESS.

1963 PMC 1206 - Original Yellow and Black Parlophone Label.

A  UK  Mono album in 100% original condition.

This record has a number of interesting features:

1.  There is NO Mono logo printed  on the front of the sleeve !. This is an original  flipback sleeve with the usual  ‘PMC’ Mono reference  on the rear.    ALL  the Mono sleeves had  this  Mono text printed UNDER the laminate on the front of the sleeve, but during manufacture this sleeve didn’t get its mono logo for some strange reason !.     Even more curious is that  this sleeve went on to get through EMIs  quality control department and then out into the shops !.  The sleeve also features   a very  ‘ dark and grainy’  photo,   now thought to be a  misprint as  the later  sleeves  used a  much lighter photo.

2.  the record label on side one  has the very unusual configuration of letters   ‘ M Z T K ’  embossed onto it,

3.   each of the record labels appears to have  a ‘ textured surface’,   these labels normally  have a smooth satin finish !,

4.  the record  has the more unusual  4 / 4  matrix.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE:  is in very good condition,  the  front of the sleeve is laminated.   The rear of the sleeve features  the  tri flipback design.       The spine is in very good  condition and all the text is readable.  The unlaminated rear of the sleeve has remained  clean and white for its age. The sleeve features the corrected spelling of  the song title   ‘You really Got a hold on me’.    There is NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue.   

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+  condition and is the original poly lined ‘ Use Emitex ’  sleeve,   it is  very clean  for its age.  There are  NO pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL:   is in very good condition,     the vinyl  is made  from the period   thick, heavy  vinyl it  is  clean, dark and  glossy.

The Matrix nos. are:        XEX 447 –  4  N   and   XEX 448 – 4  N, 

The Mother / Stampers are:   ‘ 2       G  A ’     and     ‘ 1      A   T ’.

THE AUDIO:    is very good,   a nice  playing copy,   it lays flat on the turntable and plays without the needle jumping or skipping.

THE LABELS:  side one is in excellent condition,  side 2 is in near excellent condition, as mentioned above  the record label on side one has the very unusual letter configuration of    ‘  M Z T K  ’    embossed  on to it. The song on side two, track three is spelt  ‘ You really got a hold on me ’. The publishing credit for the song  ‘Money’ is shown  as   ‘Dominion Belinda’.
