On auction here is the original 1963 issue of the first US single released by The Beatles in America (PLEASE PLEASE ME / ASK ME WHY).ON VEE-JAY RECORDS VJ-498 It was released on February 7, 1963 . The A-side of the disc is "Please Please Me" and the B-side "Ask Me Why." The catalog number is VJ-498.
