"HELLO GOODBYE" b/w "I AM THE WALRUS"
MEGA-RARE! 1967 UK ORIGINAL Parlophone 45-R 5655, extremely rare 'A-Label' Parlophone PR0M0 single, and a very nice copy of this important & rare Beatles UK demo record - Legendary mono mix B-side with an extra measure in the arrangement. Release date is factory type-set printed on the push-out center of both sides, 24/11/67. B-side credits '(from the Television film 'Magical Mystery Tour)'. (There of course was no such credit in any other country)
Labels are both immaculate with no markings whatsoever. A-label playing surface has one purely superficial narrow scuff (a 'fingernail mark' if you will) about 3/4" long near the play out center, otherwise gorgeous.
Matrix:
A) 7XCE 18433-1, Labels are not applied quite as precisely as early titles, so if you assume the matrix is across the bottom as the early ones were, then at 9:00 there is a ' t' , and a ' G ' at about 3:00, and a 'KT' at about 12:00.
B) 7XCE 18344-1, with ' 1 ' at 9:00, 'KT' at 12:00, and 'G' at 3:00 (my eyes...).
OVERALL very nice VG++ with gorgeous labels.
