The Beat Of The Earth: "The Electronic Hole" 1970, USA/Radish AS0002. Disc is M-, cover is M- in shrink wrap. A beautiful example of The Beat Of The Earth's rarer second LP!  Fewer than 200 copies were pressed in January 1970; you won't find one in the wild as they were never sold or distributed, just hidden away forever by the reluctant creator. This LP is totally different than their debut; the side-long freeform improvs have been abandoned in favor of compact, druggy psych snapshots which to my mind, is a much more compelling listening experience. There's a wiggy cover of Zappa's "Trouble Comin' Every Day", the rest originals. Some sitar, some wicked distorted guitar, in all a very underground vibe. It couldn't have sold at the time, but if you know the story, it wasn't supposed to. Do you collect private press LPs? I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and may represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.

SHIPPING RATES:

USA: I can send this LP to you by Media Mail for $5.00, or by Priority Mail, which will be calculated after the auction using your zip code. Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is SLOW. I have had Media Mail boxes take two months to travel cross-country.

CANADA: If you are in Canada, I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $17.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: If you are not in the USA or Canada,  I can send this LP to you by 1st Class Airmail for $23.00. This service offers no tracking. If you want online tracking, ask me about mailing options.

Note to International buyers: I DO NOT USE EBAY's GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAM. Rest assured that your Customs forms will be processed by me and your package will be postmarked/mailed at my local Post Office. If you are unable to bid on my auctions, send me an email and I will try to fix the problem.
