THE BEACH BOYS: Do It Again / Wake The World (´68 / 1st German issue / CAPITOL K 23846 / violet label / very rare p/s variation: instead of the "common" p/s (also known as the "stage" p/s) this record has the so-called "Barbara Ann" p/s - i.e. the sleeve has the very same design as "Barbara Ann" - I don´t know, how and why this scarce p/s variation with a motif from 1965/1966 came into existence, after all this p/s must have been looking quite "dated", when "Do It Again" was issued in 1968! - but whatever the reason may be, it´s a fact that only about 1% (or even less?) of all copies of "Do It Again" were sold with this scarce p/s variation - just to give you an idea of this picture sleeve´s rarity: it took exactly 40 years, until I finally saw this p/s variation for the first time in 2008!...)

CONDITION VINYL: VG to VG(+)

DESCRIPTION:

tiny writing on the left side at the top of the front p/s (inside the "EMI" logo) / the corners and the top of the p/s are slightly bent / otherwise the p/s is in superb condition, there´s only a very light ringwear / the vinyl has a few light surface scratches and it looks a bit blotchy (but the sound isn´t affected by that blotchiness)
