Description
The original Bathory LP first pressing from my collection. Only 1000 in the world. The cover shows slight wear. The vinyl is mint. Quorthon etched a small upside down cross near the center onto this copy, which is very hard to see in the picture, but when you hold it right, it's perfectly visible. I showed Quorthon and asked about this when I met him and said, "yeah, I did it on some of them, but it was difficult to do, so not all have it." This record did not come with the lyric sheet. I don't know why, but I suspect it's because this copy is such an early one. I never asked Quorthon about it, but I have read that some copies of the early first pressing did not go out with lyric sheets. The ONLY REASON I AM SELLING LOWER THAN IT SHOULD BE, is because it does not have the lyric sheet. But the etched upside down cross more than makes up for it. The lyrics to the songs are available online these days. This is a true piece of Black Metal history that is almost impossible to come by. Ask any questions.
