Aphex Twin - Analord volumes 1-11 with Binder Rephlex AFX
Generally nice condition, some of the thin plastic sleeves the original records came in have atrophied (these can be replaced) - see pics - but the plastic wallets and records themselves are nice condition, some of the vinyls have a little discolouration due to being in the plastic sleeves but it is only minor as the anti static sleeves they come in seem to protect them; not all of them have the sticker on, not sure if this is how they came or if someone it got removed, I have no recollection of removing them! Most records have only been played 3 or 4 times and it has sat on the shelf since I moved 9 years ago so with it being so on in demand it is probably a good time to let someone else enjoy this one....
There is one extra unused page in the folder, not sure if this folder had an extra one or if the 12th one is for the picture disc (which is not included as it is the same as volume 10 which was only on black vinyl with the folder).
I have been asked about the level of fading on the records so I have gone through and checked them, as I did so they were machine cleaned and put in a new Nagaoka antistatic sleeve with the original sleeves put to one side for the winner. The original sleeves are a flimsy PVC sleeve and not a quality antistatic sleeve, however they seem to have provided some protection against the glossy sleeves of the folder which cause this type of fading… I took a photo of the worst example but it is hard to see any fading… All records but one are NM and that has one very light mark like a paper scuff on it. In 2005 I was working in London so the ones with a little paper sticker were probably unplayed mail out copies sold on by uninterested DJs I would pick up from the Music And Video Exchange stores in London, I also bought some of them new but none were bought used/mashed and I only played this a few times during the time I have had it. I played a few of them and they all sound lovely and clean.
