Description
Original 1949 very hard to find early Andy Warhol LP record album cover art for Prokofiev’s “Alexander Nevsky-Cantata, Op 78” (Columbia ML 4247, six eye monaural), Eugene Ormandy conducting The Philadelphia Orchestra. This GOLD color print is really rare, usually the BLUE color is more common. The condition of the jacket I would say due to the rarity of the Lp is VG+, there is a seam split on the spine from the top to the bottom, the top seam and the bottom seam are 100% completely intact (solid) and all corners are nice without bends, no peels or ink writing . If not for the spine split I would grade this LP jacket a VG++. The split on the spine can be easily repaired w/ clear tape or glue , in fact if you lightly push the edges together the split is not even noticeable. All in all it's the art print that really matters on this jacket and the print is excellent. This jacket is ready to be framed, a piece of art history indeed!!. The vinyl condition is NM-, no scratches, looks superb!, very clean and glossy, labels are as shown in photos. Shipping cost is $4.00 U.S.A.----$12.50 CANADA----$18.50 WORLD-WIDE. Insurance and/or registered mail will be an additional cost. Thanks for stopping by.
