Raw John Lee Hooker sides recorded in Detroit for JVB in the late 1940s and released later as by Birmingham Sam since Hooker at the time of release was under contract to Modern. Glossy, like new grooves. White grease pen '49 Hooker' on label "Low Down-Midnight Boogie" side.
