A lot has been written about this historical and ultra rare record. I got five copies of Selassie is The Chapel and have made inquiries into it.

26 blank label copies were pressed by Mortimo Planno himself. An additional 100-200 copies were made from a damaged stamper in the 1980's by Randy's (Clive Chin).

Hi Nicolas,

The copie of Selassie is the Chapel by Bob Marley is original. I could not see the matrix numbers but I'm pretty sure that it's a original copie you got so I wouldn't doubt it. Plus there where only 26 copies made at the time by Planno in 1968. I got the original Stampers in 1978 and pressed about 250 copies on the Tuff Gong label in wish I paid in full to Mortimo Planno and gave back the Stampers that where broken by then.
