CONDITION DESCRIPTION:”Perfect record” is in the eye of the beholder. Also, some records look better than they sound and others sound better than they look. 80% of my grading is sound, 20% visual.I do not sell records that are beat up, scratched, skip, or simply so bad that you can’t even listen to it. I do my best to grade my records so you can be a happy vinyl camper, but if for any reason you are not happy, contact so we can work it out. If you are unsure, ask BEFORE you bid. Plus or minus indicate a smaller grade down from the listing grade. My grading is as follows:
* MINT= Unplayed. NOTE I only grade records mint if they are sealed or just opened. * NEAR MINT= Played a few times, but visibly looks good, and although most won’t, somemay have very minor marks, wear and tear. I.e. maybe some tiny light scratches and marks which does not affect the play, except for regular vinyl noise and/or minute defects part of vinyl in general. * EXCELLENT= Played several times or regularly, but still very playable with some noises, pops,or marks. * FAIR= Been played a lot and has normal tear and wear that includes noise, pops or marks. I.e. More for a DJ that just wants to play the record out.
