Description:

A complete set of The Beatles ?The Beatles? (The White Album) in all its original mono glory, housed in an incredibly low No.0003910 numbered and very collectable 1st press top-loading sleeve. This set is a real treasure for collectors and listeners alike due to it's standout condition and low number.


Key Features:

  • Matrix numbers: -1-1-1-1: Side 1: XEX 709-1; Side 2: XEX 710-1; Side 3: XEX 711-1; Side 4: XEX 712-1. (-1 matrix endings on all sides) 
  • Labels: The labels are printed with a dark green and 'Sold In U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists' text is printed at the top. and feature the in error of omitting the text 'An E.M.I. Recording' on the label that was swiftly corrected. Have the credits "Production by GEORGE MARTIN"  and "Orchestrations by GEORGE MARTIN" below the group's name.
  • Sleeve: The stamped seven-digit number appears in grey on a slight downward angle towards the lower right corner. Later issues featured went down to a six-digit format.
  • Low Number:  Highly collectable low numbered 0003910 sleeve makes this a sought-after collectors item. 
  • Stampers: Low 1 HP, 7 PG, 1GP, 1GM Mother & Stampers

Disc One: EXCELLENT. The record shows superb deep-gloss playing surfaces with some light signs of use under direct halogen spotlight. A fantastic example of a difficult LP to find in such condition.

Audio Grade: 

Disc One: EXCELLENT. The record plays through without issue. Occasional light crackle between tracks/quiet passages, obviously no skips or sticks. A fantastic mono listening experience with great channel separation, centre-front vocals and punchy bass.

Sleeve: EXCELLENT. The sleeve is in fantastic shape. The front and back retain their original glossy sheen with no sign of ring wear, as is the insides. Sharp edges with a nice fully readable spine. No stains, pen or marks. Overall it is a superb example of an often heavily worn record sleeve made even more powerful by the very low sleeve number.
