Description
You are bidding for an original UK pressing of the 12” EP by Dark Light released on their own label (an SRT pressing SRT92LS-3365) in 1992.
Dark Light were a UK post NWOBHM / melodic heavy metal band formed in Grimsby in 1991 by guitarists Stuart Powell and Danny James, by the time they entered Gem Studios in nearby Boston in 1992 to record this their only release the band were a five piece with Neil Evans on vocals, Andi Cornwall on bass and Chris Drake on Drums.
Reviews online have described this as a relatively unknown post NWOBHM jewel, with a melodic US metal sound.

Visually the disc is in superb condition with no defects worthy of mention. It still has a beautiful sheen, appears to be perfectly flat with no warping, and labels which are clean and have little or no evidence of spindle marking.
Audibly this is a small SRT pressed release, but other than some very light noise on the run in / out and between tracks it plays perfectly and I would grade the vinyl overall as a virtually un-played Ex+.
The monochrome (shades of grey on white) sleeve shows some signs of age, light creasing and wear to the seams (but no splits) and is still in a nice collectable condition which I would grade Ex-.
This copy includes the super rare original insert printed on green A4 paper, and I can include a photocopy of a review of the EP from the Summer 93 Edition of Gig Guide, which advises the EP is available at the Rock Shack in Grimsby or from members of the band!

Overall then I would describe this as a really nice copy of a rare and collectable record which I would grade as Ex+/Ex- (vinyl/sleeve).
