What is Mastersound Digital Mastering?

Mastersound is Sony-Japan (CBS-SONY)'s Super Audiophile Vinyl Record series mostly released in the early to mid 1980's, using SONY's High Quality Mastering Master Tape, Super Real Plating, a High Quality Vinyl (superb material developed & made in CBS-SONY Shizuoka factory) with Special Covers and Sleeves.

Obi Strip: An 80mm Wide Obi Strip. This has a mainly a Black and Purple background with Silver writing. This has no Tears, Splits or Seams coming undone and is in a perfect condition as its still in the original factory fitted shrink wrap. MINT
Cover: The Original Heavy Card Cover. This has no Tears, Splits or Seams coming undone and is in a near perfect condition as its still in the original factory fitted shrink wrap. Mint-
Inserts: The first insert is 1 page 2 sides long, this has a track listing in English and Japanese and some information and credits in Japanese. The next two inserts are explaining about Mastersound, these are both in Japanese. There is also a CBS survey postcard, again in Japanese. These are all in a very good condition with no rips, tears or splits.
Inner Sleeve: The Original Heavy card Mastersound Record Sleeve. This has the record credits on in English. This has no Tears, Splits or Seams coming undone.
Vinyl Condition: It feels like a heavy Vinyl when you handle it. This has no scratches, scuffs or marks. The record shines like new and when played it sounds great. Mint-
