Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. 6. Prior to this LP, the Minneapolis-based C.A.QUINTET had released a few respectable, though restrained, garage rock singles. Then something tweaked in the mind of Ken Erwin, the mastermind behind the Quintet, and the band’s frat rock would become infused with a dark, weird edge.  The Trip came housed in a classic, striking thick colorful grainy jacket and reflects a truly original acid concept album chronicling the hell of earth. It’s an album that takes you into another world, another mind, and there are some deep, ACID ROCK excursions to behold.  
   
   The title track, TRIP THU HELL is a 9-minute journey with re-occurring memorable theme and sporting a prominent bass groove, angelic and eerie background vocals, shimmering organ, and surprisingly effective phased drums = topped by demented fuzz-distortion guitar theatrics. This album was unlike anything recorded before or since, and certainly remains worth their visionary TRIP THU HELL
7. ”Cold Spider” has Ken Erwin screaming his lungs out over some nice whacked out raga guitar-leads and terrific Hendrix-styled feedback. Then they burst into “Colorado,” “Sleepy Hollow Lane,” “Smooth As Silk,” “Trip Thru Hell (Part 2)” and “Underground Music,” which are again dark oddities full of memorable themes and attention-getting highlights.
   
   Listening to this record may be an overwhelming experience for some, so it’s definitely beginning to end pure psychedelia with incredibly played and arranged creative instrumentation dealing with a strong vision. Overall the hallucinogenic themes with sudden jolts of screaming distortion fueled guitar effects make it a must have collectible.

1. The vinyl: Rated: conservative VG and note: visual soft hair scuffs, minor hairlines, yet most-importantly audio playback performs bold and bright as a keeper copy yet rarely only faint (minor) non-distracting surface if at all, otherwise strong enjoyable performance predominately. 
2. By far the best copy of three originals we ever located. Evidenced by the 'Candy Floss' labels being clean = see all photos of exact item you'll own.
