1958 Curved Hifi Stereo labels and sleeves Walter & the NYPO in Mahler: 2nd Symphony. Philips SABL 189/190. It has taken me buying three sets over 12 years to get a pristine pair of these on 1st labels for you!. Worth the wait though, earliest rough labels UK Philips in lovely big valve stereo sound, from this good friend of the composer. Playing surfaces are completely free of marks and the labels are clean with barely a spindle mark between the 4 sides, so low plays for the 2 lps. Apart from the link between them, Walter was a great conductor anyway, and this is one of the definitive Mahler performances of the 20th century.
Record set in Near Mint condition, plays Near Mint without faults. Sleeves are Mint also.
