This record does not have a label as they tore off a piece of brown paper to stop the vinyl sticking to the metal stamper on the pressing machine in order to make this. They didn't use a blank label which makes this a bit of a museum item.

This never got a release and I can find no record of it anywhere on the internet. This is the only copy I have ever seen or heard of.

The matrix numbers are :

Tuff Gong 4919 A

Tuff Gong 4920 B

The song is the same song Bunny sings on the 1973 'Burnin' LP but the singer is unknown.  I have a feeling this is Judy Mowatt with The Wailers and I read that Bunny credited this song to Jean Watt which was a pen name for Judy Mowatt but I don't know if that true or not. Others say that Jean Watt is a pen name for Bunny or the name of a woman friend of Bunny. Perhaps this is her or Judy singing and I assume that it's the I-Threes on harmonies.

The rhythm is heavyweight especially on the dub side. Rare and not to be missed.

See scan for label condition.

Vinyl has some shine but it is covered in many light surface scratches and you can hear some clicks especially near the start, but I doubt if a better copy will surface if one even exists.  The record has a very slight warp which does not affect play.

? Please listen to the sound files so you can hear the condition then make your own judgement of the grading so that you will be happy with your record. Sadly, the eCommerce player probably does not play on mobile devices but will play on your computer.

Please do not pay until an invoice is sent, as I need to adjust postage to make it a fair charge for both of us. I am happy to combine postage for more than one record.

FINAL POSTAGE CHARGES:

UK (1st Class Signed For – only if total record price is less than £50) = £2.37

UK (Special Delivery if total record price is above £50 for insurance cover) = £7.25 .... That’s what Royal Mail charges from 31st March 2016

Europe (Tracked and Signed For) = £8.25

North or South America, Japan, Australia (Tracked and Signed For) = £9.25

Tracked and Signed For services are expensive but postage charges will be based on the cost that Royal Mail charges me to send your record(s).

You will be able to check the actual postage cost paid on the postage stamp when you receive it.

I don’t charge buyers for the cardboard mailers or for the eBay and PayPal fees (approx 15%) they charge me on the postage money.

I hope that you will be happy with your record(s) but if not, please let me know before leaving feedback and I will try to resolve any problems.

Please see the 3rd Photo to give you a better idea what the record looks like. It's a piece of brown paper instead of a white label on this 'pre-production' test press for this never issued record.
