A Lecturer from the university of Berkely, Fabio got together with some family members and local musicians and immortalized one of the grooviest pieces, period. The album is a mix of funk and afro-percussion tunes with scorching vocals and brilliant afro-centric poetry. Think Cymande arrangments with James Brown's teachings and a slightly badder Nikki Giovanni. With titles like "Work It Out", "Boss Soul", "Soul Through A Licking Stick", "Panther Caged", "Black Back", & "A Mover" intuition should be telling you that the contents within are all one could desire in a funk rarity! Oh so clean, oh so elusive, do the do on spiritual soul over-load!
