Attention all shoppers, there is a great deal on heat in crate #3. Up for auction is the holy-grail disco lp from New York's Original Just Us on the impossibly rare J.O.B. Productions label. This album is super-serious love music for the sophisticated members of tomorrow's jet set. When the first song (album title) kicks in, it's like a shotgun has just fired a round of disco shells and killed a dancefloor filled with boogie-monsters. Brilliant modern goodness on "Let's Just Try To Survive (This Love)" truly slick production with breathtaking lyrics. Right back at it with the strong "There Is Something That I Feel". Hot disco biznass on "Loving You", a disgustingly sugary boogie tune with awesome bass and synths to bring in the year 3000. And the album closes out with the drum-heavy soulful cut "Can You Love" the guitar solo will make you spill your drink all over your silk pants! This album is virtaully unknown but I've seen it on some very cognoscenti want lists. I've rejected a recent offer of $100, but the temptation to flip has come into play. No reserve on this beast, and have never and probably never will see another copy. Do the do, vicious hotness! Y plus, it's autographed by the members. Probably given out to the coolest person ever to walk the streets of new york in the early 80's.
