Description
R.E.M., "Radio Free Europe"/"Sitting Still" (1981, Hibtone Records). Insanely rare self-released debut single by Athens, Georgia's finest and containing different versions of both songs than those found on MURMUR-- to this day, this single is the only place you can hear this unique rendering of the B-side! Vinyl is in excellent condition with very minor wear-- I'd rate it a strong VG+++. Cover is similarly nice with only slight ring/shelf-wear, VG+! I bought this record when it came out in the summer of 1981 and have handled and stored it with care ever since, occasionally fighting off insane offers to sell it and pleading requests to lend it out... alas, I'm now liquidating much of my prized vinyl so it's finally going. I grade records accurately and, if anything, conservatively-- check my feedback and bid with confidence on what is easily the most sought-after item in R.E.M.'s gargantuan discography!
