My last sealed LP of Gary Higgins Red Hash. Don't let this one get away. Included is the desired RARE INSERT.

ABOUT THE LP

You are bidding on an original sealed copy of Red Hash by Gary Higgins on Nufusmoon Label WMI 3673 recorded in 1973.

This Lp was recorded just months before Higgins was sentenced to prison in 1973  and privately released while he was serving time. From what I have researched this is the only recording he ever made.

This LP is listed in "Rockin' Records 2004" guide with a range for near-mint condition as $50 to $100. From what I have been seeing in my internet searches they are bringing more in the $150.00 range for NM condition without the rare insert. Thats if you can even find one for sale. These are indeed Rare and hard to find Lps.This Lp is also listed in the Hans Pokora 3001Record Collector Dreams (IN HIS SERIES OF RARE PSYCHEDELIC, PROGRESSIVE, ROCK, BEAT, ETC).

I had aquired over 50 of these from an antique dealer along with many other albums out of an estate he bought. I have sold most of them to record dealers in other countries and am down to my last two. I may be keeping the last one.  Based on the address shipping label on the box they were owned by a male relative of Higgins. These LPs are the original release and not the reissue from the 80's. The last picture shows the writing on the box I received them in. It also has a shipping label on it that shows a shipping date of 1974.

ABOUT THE INSERT

This is the only LP of the batch that I am including a rare insert. This insert has pictures and stories about Higgins and his band. Pictures include a pic of each of the band members, the band in practice, the artist drawing the cover, photo at the courthouse, and more. Has news clippings about his arrest and trial. A little info about Nufusmoon records. This insert was inside one of the cases of 25 lps. I assume there may have been one inserted in each case of 25 but I am not sure. The insert is in excellent condition. It is not likely you will ever find another original copy of this insert with a sealed LP.

CONDITION

This Lp is sealed. I will give the winning bidder the option of opening it before shipping for inspection. The four corners of the jacket have a slight curve to it as all the others I sold did. I have been told this is common due to being sealed for so many years. If you choose not to have it opened for inspection you will buy at your own risk. I will not ensure the condition if I can not inspect it myself. I have had no complaints from other buyers who bought sealed.
