Description

Elbie Parker PLEASE KEEP AWAY FROM ME / LUCKY GUY   Veep 1246  white demo copy.  Strong VG polystyrene copy of double dynamite!  Nearly perfect M- labels. **************** CAN YOU SAY FLOOR FILLER? ***********    One of last records I have to offer this time around is .... a MONSTER!  I got chills when I first played it. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASEEEE KEEP AWAY FROM ME (he sings it with a killer trill in his voice!)   Without a doubt the most essential NEED TO OWN record I've listed so far today. Plays much nicer than the grade I've given it... it plays with AWESOME fidelity!   Flip it over and you have ANOTHER monster!   This wayward 45 is in search of a good home. Follow Angelina Jolie's lead ... Adopt a record today.  This one. The adoption process starts with a bid...... (oh yeah, mama sez to tell you Granny just called. She's not baking any more brownies for you unless you bring this one home to her! Good taste must run in the family!)  ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((*))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))   THE LAST RECORD I'LL BE LISTING TODAY WILL BE A GORGEOUS COPY OF A RARE RAY POLLARD on SHRINE 103. But more than that ... there will be a few dozen other fabulous discs, including almost a dozen KILLER Northern rarities so please bookmark me.   Every record I list today will be sold without reserve. Even if that means it brings the minimum bid. I believe in playing fair.  Some are quite rare. (I'll be listing some of the better titles last)  In all fairness to bidders, I will not end an auction early if bids have been placed, no matter what the offer is. Conditions will vary, but keep in mind none of these are common titles. I do try to grade as accurately as possible. (This batch is loaded with really CLEAN and RARE records! )  Your satisfaction is important to me. When one scan is shown, in most cases I will be showing you the LESSER graded side. The other side should be equal or BETTER condition! Every record is being visually graded, and then PLAY graded as I list it.  I will combine winnings to save you on shipping (I only charge actual costs). So if you only want to bid the minimum, you just might get some of these!  Records will be shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers with an additional cardboard insert for protection. For 45's, a further layer of protection comes with PRIORITY mail (which I highly recommend). Please make payment within one week, unless other arrangements are made.  I will work with anyone. I'm a collector too.  You have TEN DAYS, so PLEASE, ASK ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS RECORD BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS!!!    I will be glad to play any record over the phone if necessary.  My number is (804) 536-3853.   -----------------POSTAGE RATES ------------- I've tried to streamline the new postal rates to offer the best two options in the simplest form.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POSTAGE COST IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.  I can't negotiate with the Post Office.  I still recommend PRIORITY, but the new FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL appears to be a safe alternative*. I will bill with the lower postal rate. If you opt for PRIORITY, you need to request it or adjust your invoice to reflect it.  INSURANCE (at an extra charge) for International packages is only available on PRIORITY mail. Buyer assumes all risk for any packages shipped without insurance.   Domestic Mail (inside the continental USA) : Priority Mail $4.60 for up to 3 singles. First Class Mail $2.75 for one record. ADD $1.oo for each additional record.  Domestic INSURANCE (recommended) is extra.  Domestic Insurance $1.65 up to $50.oo, $2.05 up to $100.oo,  $2.45 up to $200.oo,  $4.60 to $300.oo. Add $1.oo for each additional $100 in value for insurance you desire.   FIRST CLASS MAIL INTERNATIONAL (AIR MAIL)   One 45 rpm (about 8 oz) $7.20 worldwide except as follows : $3.85 to Canada and Mexico.  Add $1.60* for each additional 45 RPM in the same shipment.   INTERNATIONAL INSURANCE AVAILABLE ON PRIORITY MAIL ONLY    PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL worldwide flat rate is $11.00 for up to three 45 RPM's sent in the same package. (Canada and Mexico PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL rate is $9.00 for up to three 45 RPM's sent in the same package)     PRIORITY NOT AVAILABLE TO ITALY.
FIRST CLASS MAIL INTERNATIONAL (AIR MAIL)  One ALBUM (about 18 oz) $12.00 worldwide except as follows : $6.00 to Canada,  and $8.00 to Mexico. . Add $1.60* for each additional album in the same shipment.
PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL worldwide rate (there is no flat affordable rate)  is $25.50 for the first album, $4.00 for each additional album shipped in the same package. . (Canada and Mexico PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL rate is $19.00 for up to three 45 RPM's sent in the same package) PRIORITY NOT AVAILABLE TO ITALY.   PLEASE let me know what value to declare your package for customs.  If you don't, it will be declared at a standard $10 per record.     *I recently had ONE package that was shipped First Class International Mail that arrived supposedly "smashed in two".  Although First Class International is the least expensive (standard) rate, it is still a reasonably safe method of delivery.  This alleged damage is not typical of mail delivery. I've mailed maybe a thousand packages out and this is the only one that was ever reported to me as damaged. The buyer emailed me demanding a refund on his $4.99 purchase, yet his email return address was undeliverable so I could not respond to him. This resulted in a neutral feedback for me.  It is due to this that I must add this disclaimer:   I assume NO LIABILITY for packages once they are mailed. Insurance (which DOES cost more, and DOES require priority delivery) is at the option of the buyer. If it is not chosen,  the slight risk of damage that could occur during delivery is at the risk of the buyer.   I package well, using professional sturdy cardboard mailers, further protected by additional cardboard inserts, and each record is covered by a 4 mil poly sleeve. If a buyer has a special request for shipping, I will do my best to honor that request. I will do everything possible on my end to make sure your record is shipped out securely.  My past customers can attest to that.   With 45's, Priority mail gets one additional layer of protection in an EXTRA oversized thin cardboard PRIORITY mailer. I RECOMMEND THIS METHOD! I've had my packaging described as "bomb proof" by some UK customers, many of whom choose standard delivery.  I still will stand behind any record I sell, your satisfaction is important to me.   I will handle any problems that may arise on a case by case basis. The goal is more than the money, it's your satisfaction.  I do want your return business. Thankyou all for your continued support and excellent feedback.
