Description
The White Stripes - Lafayette Blues b/w Sugar Never Tasted So Good
on Italy Records - Detroit
Vinyl itself is pristine with no visible flaws and looks like it has never been played. Most copies of this record with Franc-note inserts are usually on a red/white (or pink) swirl vinyl. This copy is definitively white with no hints of marbling or flecking.
The record also comes with the standard Marquis de Chastellux quote and George Washington/Lafayette inserts. Sleeve has a small 1/4" bend in the upper right-hand corner that is almost imperceptible, but is being divulged so there are no surprises.
Other copies with 10-franc note inserts have sold for over $4000 in the past but the reserve here is much more conservative so bid early and bid often.
Record comes with a Letter of Authenticity from official White Stripes archivist Ben Blackwell certifying the legitimacy of this record.
Truly a one-of-a-kind item that you may never see again.
Items come from a smoke free and pet free home. All vinyl shipped in cardboard vinyl mailers with cardboard stiffeners. All itmes are sold as scanned or pictured. Shipping is FREE First Class in the USA, $20 International First Class to Canada and Mexico, and $30 International First Class to the rest of the world.
